Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes data on our behalf as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. The hosting takes place in the European Union.
When you visit the website, our web server processes the information your browser transmits automatically: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested page or file, the HTTP status code, the volume of data transferred, the referring page, and browser and operating-system information. This is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its security, and investigate misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, reliable operation and defence of the website. Server logs are retained for a maximum of seven days, unless continued retention is required to investigate a security incident or assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Contact by e-mail or phone
This website has no contact form. If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details and the content of your request, to answer it and, where relevant, to initiate or perform a contract.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR when your request concerns a contract or pre-contractual measures. In other cases, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is responding to business communications.
Providing this information is voluntary. If you do not provide the information needed to understand or answer your request, we may be unable to respond or take the requested pre-contractual steps.
Recipients and international transfers
STRATO AG receives access-log data as our hosting processor. The provider that operates our e-mail service may receive the content and technical data of e-mail enquiries as a processor. We disclose personal data only where this is necessary to provide our services, where we use a processor acting under our instructions, or where we are legally required to do so.
We do not intentionally transfer website-visitor data to countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area.
Retention
We retain e-mail and phone-enquiry data only for as long as needed to deal with the request and any resulting business relationship. We may retain it for longer where statutory retention duties apply or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
